Target ADS on YouTube? Now you can!

Last Friday Google announced details regarding the updates for its YouTube offering. Among them, a new promise: to help marketers understand what their potential customers truly seek, using the history of their searches online.

 This promise represents a substantial change for advertisers who will be able to enter more easily into the consumer’s mindset and create targeted campaigns. Let's see how it works: once logged in with a Google Account, Google Search History will be used to target ads, which will be targeted in line with user's interests. This customization can, however, be disabled through the account settings.

In a post on the YouTube blog ,the director of product management of  YouTube - Diya Jolly - added that ads will be more relevant and useful on mobile devices, given that statistics reveal more than 50% of YouTube videos appear on mobile devices. Another step towards change.
